Leo gripped the wheel of his rented sedan and pulled to the side. He’d been driving for three hours, fleeing a failed business and a failed marriage, heading nowhere in particular. But now, he watched as two Lamborghinis screamed past.

The driver of the Aventador stepped out. He was in his late sixties, dressed in worn jeans and a faded flannel shirt. Silver hair, crinkled eyes. He looked less like a supercar owner and more like a retired rancher. Leo gripped the wheel of his rented sedan
