Din — Vde 0298 Part 4

What is it? DIN VDE 0298-4 is a German technical standard (part of the VDE regulation series) that specifies methods for determining the current-carrying capacity of cables and wires in power installations. Unlike installation standards (e.g., DIN VDE 0100), Part 4 focuses exclusively on how much current a cable can safely carry under specific real-world conditions.
