Suddenly, a book fell off a nearby shelf, landing with a loud thud. Alex spun around, their heart racing. That's when they saw it: a piece of paper, slipped between the bookshelves, with a cryptic message scrawled on it: B) Investigate the study room where Emily saw the argument
"They're watching. Don't trust anyone."
As they pressed Emily for more information, the library's lights began to flicker. The air grew colder. And Alex couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched.
