They escape Bhatinda and travel to Manali. In Manali, they finally find Anshuman’s house—only to discover that Anshuman already has a wife and child. Geet is shattered. She cries for the first time in the film. Aditya comforts her. Realizing her family will be worried, Geet asks Aditya to leave her alone and go back to Mumbai. He refuses, but she insists. He leaves her at a railway station.
Aditya brings Geet back to her family in Bhatinda. He tells her family the truth about Anshuman. Her family forgives her. But Geet still feels broken. Aditya then decides to do for Geet what she did for him: he forces her to live again. He goes back to Manali to find Geet. He searches everywhere. Finally, he finds her in a small Buddhist monastery.
