Install Video DownloadHelper (Firefox/Chrome extension).
Use this command:
Select the video file (usually the largest size).
Go to the Network tab.
In the Network tab filter bar, type: .mp4 or .m3u8
Click "Download" – it will convert the stream to an .mp4 file. Method 3: Using yt-dlp (Command Line – Most Powerful) This works for many THEOplayer instances, even with some simple tokens.
Open the page with THEOplayer in Chrome or Firefox.
Press Ctrl+S (Windows) or Cmd+S (Mac) to save the video. Method 2: Using Video DownloadHelper (Browser Extension) Best for HLS streams ( .m3u8 ) that are not DRM-protected.
