He closed the file. Deleted it. Emptied the recycle bin.

And whispers.

The next morning, Leo’s chair was empty. The hard drive was gone. And on the wall, scratched into the plaster, was the finished filename:

Leo turned up the volume. Her voice had two layers: English on top, and underneath, a whisper in a language he didn’t recognize. It wasn’t Spanish or French or Mandarin. It sounded like static trying to form words. Lost in Space -2018- S03 Dual Audio -English Hi...

Leo paused the video. His reflection stared back from the dark screen, but for a split second, he thought he saw another face behind his—wired, hollow-eyed, grinning.

Then the laptop died.

But that night, when he woke at 3:00 AM, his laptop was on. The file was back. And it was playing.
