Mercedes Vito: 2012 Service Reset

Once in the Service menu, use the up/down arrows to find “ASSYST PLUS” or “FULL SERVICE” .

Within the first 4 seconds, press the odometer reset button (the small black button protruding from the instrument cluster, usually on the bottom left or right). Hold it for about 3 seconds. mercedes vito 2012 service reset

Close all doors. Turn the ignition to position 1 (engine off). Once in the Service menu, use the up/down

Turn the ignition to position 1 (accessory mode – dash lights come on, but the engine is off). Close all doors

Before you start, confirm your Vito’s instrument cluster type. The 2012 model year can have either the standard cluster (with a single multifunction button on the dashboard) or the steering wheel button layout. Below are the two most common methods. This works for Vitos without steering wheel menu buttons.

Once “SERVICE MENU” appears, press and hold the odometer button for 3-5 seconds. The display will change to “RESET SERVICE?” or “CONFIRM” .
