He tapped ‘Backstep’, pivoted, and raised ‘Shield Bash’. The mage staggered. Kaelen followed with ‘Spring Attack’, knocking it into the wall.

She lunged. Kaelen raised ‘Onslaught’, the charge skill that let him brace through damage. He took the hit. His health dropped 40%. The Priest healed. He cycled ‘Iron Will’ for defense and ‘Second Wind’ for a panic self-heal.

“Shield Barrage!” he yelled to himself. Two quick thrusts. The mobs clung to him like iron to a magnet.

The Sorcerer’s Mana Barrage ended it.

Kaelen didn’t move. He couldn’t. If he turned, she’d cleave the party.
