The Legend of Drunken Master, also known as "Drunken Master" or "The Legend of Drunken Master Wong Fei-hung", is a 1978 Hong Kong martial arts film directed by Yuen Woo-ping and starring Jackie Chan. The film is a semi-autobiographical account of Wong Fei-hung, a famous Chinese martial artist and folk hero. The Telugu dubbed version of the movie is known as "I Saidub" in some regions.
To tackle Wong's arrogance, his father sends him to learn from a mysterious and eccentric drunkard, Ma Chao (played by Hwang Jang-lee), who is an expert in the Drunken Fist style. Wong struggles to master the complex and unorthodox techniques, but eventually, he learns to combine his natural talent with the Drunken Fist style.
The film tells the story of Wong Fei-hung (played by Jackie Chan), a young martial artist who becomes a skilled fighter under the tutelage of his father, Huang Gan (played by Siu Tin-yuen). However, Wong's hot-headed and rebellious behavior leads to conflicts with his father, who tries to teach him discipline and humility.
