The Time Life Music collection represents one of the most ambitious direct-marketing music projects of the late 20th century. Originally a division of the Time Warner media giant, Time Life Music became famous for its iconic television commercials (“boom, boom, out go the lights...”) that sold curated, themed box sets of CDs and cassettes.
